Hump Day from Hell?

I woke up early today as my husband Geary was being a restless sleeper.  I'm still trying to adjust to being on summer vacation sleep schedule.  So there I was at 6:30 a.m. finding myself drawn to eating my Nutrisystem breakfast entree and playing The Sims 3.  Given I'm a huge fan of The Sims 3, I wanted to get my hands on the new release, The Sims Ambitions.  I went to the Super Target over by my physical therapy and they were SOLD OUT.  Come on!  The game only released yesterday, June 1st.  So now I debate on ordering online through a merchant, driving around town to get a copy of the extension pack and hoping my son doesn't want something from any of the Best Buy stores near us or downloading the extension pack from the official EA site.  The only problem with digital download that I learned from The Sims 2 is you don't get the book that teaches you how to play the game.

Isn't that kind of how life is at times?  I wish I had a manual to prepare me for what is in store for my life each day!  I got home from physical therapy to find Philip on my computer and he made sure to tell me that my physical therapy was supposed to last 3 hours.  Yeah little buddy.  You were asleep when I left the house.  My session started at 9 a.m. and I was home about 11:45 a.m.  Kids!  Lately Philip has decided to make a "tent" out of our living room with blankets.  It's just the 3 of us here so unless company comes I let him have his fun.  We have an office with tv and couch and DVD/DVR so no biggie.

Philip had been running a fever last night and was congested.  Today he asked me for a blanket and you would have thought the world was ending when I messed up a "tent" on the recliner chair.  Needless to say I called our family doctor and at 8:45 a.m. this Thursday my son gets checked for sinus infection.  This is an ADHD child who never takes naps anymore and now he's sleeping quite a bit during the day.  I wouldn't say it's really a hump day from hell but a challenging one nonetheless.
